Building on our Funky Finance course (Day One), Day Two explores budgeting in more detail providing a fascinating insight into typical beliefs and behaviours commonly associated with budgeting: why it’s like that and how to transform it, in self and others.

We continue with our Gr8 Knickers case study to construct a compelling budget, first in words then in numbers through the art of story. Along the way non-finance people discover how finance techniques and expertise can bring insight to the story; and how they can partner with finance to create a compelling, joined up story that is owned by the whole organisation.

Participants then learn how to evaluate both a budget profit and loss and cashflow through the eyes of key stakeholders and in the context of the long term vision.
